Essayist

Overview

Template for essayists, book authors and writers, focused on science, ecology and nonfiction narrative. The site includes a home page with the author introduction, upcoming events with dates and locations, an email subscription form and lists of recent articles. It has an article index with categories, individual essay pages with date, category and long text, book pages with title, synopsis and review quotes, a biography and a contact form for interviews or signings. The observable style is restrained and editorial: light cream and white backgrounds, dark text, serif and sans-serif typefaces, and a very subtle palette of green and blue accents. It suits nonfiction authors, columnists or science communicators who want a literary-feeling site.
